This book review is on This is Where it Ends by Marieke Nijkamp. This is Where it Ends is a Suspense Thriller told in the perspective of four different teens: Claire, Tomas, Autumn, and Sylvia. Throughout the interchanging perspectives, the shared fear of 54 torturing minutes is expressed to the reader. At the end of a school assembly in Opportunity High School, Alabama, when students get ready to leave, they begin to realize that many of them won't make it out alive. An armed shooter has made his way into the building, and, with meticulous planning, the troubled teen manages to complete his mission and take out [almost] everyone he intended to. So, who is this book for? This book is for anyone who can handle realistic horror situations. This book is for anyone who enjoys unimaginable plot twists. This book is also for anyone looking for a heart-wrenching tear-jerker to immerse yourself in. I would only stay away from this book if you cannot handle death or other related sensitive topics. This is an amazing book full of emotion; the author has really exceeded the expectation of bringing feelings to life. 10/10 would recommend.
